Frank Ross joined the CDCB team in March 2018 to lead web administration, coming from USDA Agricultural Research Service with deep knowledge of both the legacy and current CDCB systems. In more than 25 years in the IT department at USDA ARS, Frank’s responsibilities grew from part-time data entry to his final USDA position as an Information Technology Specialist. Frank assisted the Animal Improvement Program Laboratory (AIPL) in transitioning from mainframe computing to RISC workstations, moving to Linux power workstations, and scripting and coding various projects.
