Courtney joined the CDCB in May 2023 as a Data Support Specialist. Courtney graduated with a Bachelor’s in animal sciences from Cornell University in 2018 and earned a Master’s in animal sciences from Texas Tech University with a study that focused on calf health in 2020. After her Master’s, Courtney returned to her family farm in Carroll County, MD. On the farm, Courtney was in charge of the DNA sampling and submission of animals and also assisted in making breeding and culling decisions based on genomic information.
