Heather Adams Enzenauer, Ph.D., started with the CDCB as an Applied Geneticist in September 2022. Before CDCB, Heather worked as a genomic specialist and research scientist for Cooperative Resources International, and more recently a data scientist at AgSource. Originally a midwestern farm girl, Heather received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC); followed by Master’s and Doctorate degrees from UIUC with focuses in Quantitative Genetics and Bioinformatics, respectively. She also completed postdoctoral appointments at UIUC and UW Madison.
