Rick Demory
Data Engineer
Rick joined CDCB as a Data Engineer contractor in June 2026. He has an extensive background in software development and data engineering and has worked in technical roles in several different industries, including media, telecommunications, delivery, insurance, law enforcement, and education. Most recently, Rick served as the Director of data Engineering at STARZ, where he worked with the team to migrate a large data warehouse from on-premises to the AWS and Snowflake cloud platforms. He takes great pride in delivering quality data solutions to the customers he serves. Rick’s focus and attentional to detail are what drives him. He enjoys working in a collaborative team environment building modern and highly scalable data integrations.
Rick earned a bachelor’s degree in both computer science and mathematics from Simpson College. He brings over 30 years of experience working in technology to CDCB. In his spare time, Rick enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountain region and partaking in all the recreation opportunities the great outdoors provides.
