Fiona Guinan

Fiona joined CDCB as a Livestock Data Analytics Expert in August 2025. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin in 2018. Following her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship at CDCB before beginning a master’s program at the University of Georgia in 2020, where she focused on documenting the progress made in the U.S. dairy cattle industry since the introduction of genomic selection. In 2025, Fiona completed her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her dissertation explored the genetics of resilience and consistency indicators in U.S. dairy cows using daily milk weights.
